A new Crave location will open soon in Austin, Texas. The Minneapolis-based chain will set up in a former Hawaiian fusion restaurant, Roy’s, at 340 E. Second St., according to the Austin Business Journal.
Owner Kam Talebi told the Journal that the Austin location will be the chain’s ninth location and will serve “eclectic American cuisine and sushi.”
The restaurant will open in the 8,500-s.f. space in March 2014 and will employ about 100 workers. According to the report, Talebi is working with Shea Inc., an architecture and design firm, for the restaurant’s look and layout. The location will feature circular bars and large outdoor patios, the report says.
Talebi said the Austin location should have a popular beverage program, with a happy hour menu and a late happy hour menu, including 30 beers on tap.
